About EA’s Charlottetown Location
Our Charlottetown team occupies the top three floors in a heritage building within the downtown waterfront area in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Our team has found success in making quality games for mobile devices, breaking ground in the free-to-play market with games both commercially and critically successful. As part of EA’s Mobile division, the team proudly brought The Simpsons: Tapped Out to iOS and Android markets. Our team of seasoned engineers, artists, designers, producers, and QA specialists currently work together to bring regular content to the game’s extensive and enthusiastic user base, while looking to expand to our next IP.
With approximately 80 employees, we get together regularly for soccer, weekly bar trivia and chicken wings, board game nights, video game nights, and anything else we happen to decide to do that week.
Prince Edward Island radiates a feeling of “home” through its friendly community, its breath-taking landscapes, and its relaxed pace. Enriched by a buzzing arts community and an always evolving festival circuit, Charlottetown has something for everyone. Here, whether you're looking to play a few rounds of golf, have an unforgettable culinary experience, or spend a lazy day at the beach, you’ll find what you’re looking for and more. The Island prides itself on the quality of life it offers its residents along with a low cost of living.
