Multiple OTs, big upsets fill the scorecard of the NFC Club bracket.
Madden players battle it out to win their division and move onto the next round of the Club Championship.
Club Championship
This tournament is lit. The AFC side of the tournament was filled with massive upsets after Joke and Drini fell, so the NFC had a tough act to follow. There was not one, but two overtimes needed, some key upsets, and a slugfest between two Madden crewmates.
Before we talk about the Divisional Finals, here’s a quick rundown on how they got here.
Gos (Washington) defeated Henry (Eagles), 19-13 OT
Fancy (Cowboys) defeated Evil O (Giants), 27-10
Dcroft (Seahawks) defeated 49er (49ers), 27-0
Freethepenguins (Cardinals) defeated Young Colin (Rams), 13-10
Jwall (Lions) defeated Chiggs (Packers), 20-6
PoiZzon (Vikings) defeated Stiff (Bears). 38-17
Manu (Panthers) defeated Danny (Buccaneers), 27-20
So Not Gucci (Saints) defeated Mr Football 88 (Falcons), 28-10
NFC West Final
TNC crewmates battle it out in a slugfest
If you’re a fan of competitive Madden, this game was like fine dining. It was between two members of the TNC Madden crew, Dcroft and Freethepenguins. They’ve practiced together and know each other’s tendencies extremely well. So they had to throw some new stuff out there to keep their crewmate guessing.
It was an intense matchup. Dcroft walked away with it, but this could’ve gone either way.
NFC East Final
Muffed punt sends this one to OT
We need to send a memo to Gos. He might be under the impression that prize money is paid by the hour, because this was his second game of the night that went into overtime. After narrowly beating Henry earlier that night, Gos was left as one of the few belt winners remaining in the tournament. And his game against Fancy was epic.
Fancy made an epic mistake though. With just seconds remaining on fourth down , Fancy punted it away to close the game. However, it was an extremely short punt and it went out of bounds with just one second left. This gave Gos one last shot to tie with a huge field goal. He nailed it, sending the game to OT.
But Fancy was able to shake off the horrible mistake, and won an extremely talented NFC East.

NFC South Final
Respect. His. Name.
Regardless of the difference in MCS experience, both of these competitors were looking to prove something. Manu believes he’s the best two-way player in the tournament, and his earlier games gave that claim legitimacy. So Not Gucci has been labeled an underdog this whole tourney, and was looking to further establish himself among the Madden elite.
So Not Gucci came up big and put some respect on his name. He might still be labeled the underdog as he moves on in the tournament, but it seems to be working for him.
NFC North Final
Down to the wire ...
Jwall has been one of the best Madden players in recent months. He was quietly turning into a popular pick to win the Club Championship within the Madden community. PoiZzon though, was having none of it. He prides himself in his prep work, and was clearly ready for this epic matchup.
This one came down to the final minutes. Jwall managed to squeak out a victory here, but barely.
Don’t forget, the Madden 21 Club Champion will be crowned this week as the tournament draws to a close. The live stream for the Quarterfinal starts at 6pm ET on Thursday, Feb. 4. The Semifinals and Final will be the following day, Friday, Feb. 5 and will kick-off at 7pm ET. If the previous games offered any indication, then you won’t want to miss how it ends.
