The ALGS Year 3 Pro League Returns November 5-6, 2022

We’re back! This weekend, November 5-6, 2022, the ALGS Pro League returns. After a record-breaking Year 2 Championship at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC in July, followed by our biggest Preseason Qualifier tournaments in ALGS history, Year 3’s Pro League is shaping up to be one for the books.

How will DarkZero fare in North America after winning the Split 2 Playoffs and Year 2 Championship representing APAC South? Will Pioneers (ex-GMT) remain on top in EMEA? Will Parkha leaving aD for Crazy Racoon shake things up in APAC North? Can APAC South continue to establish itself as one of the dominant regions in the ALGS? After a busy off-season with a flurry of roster changes in South America, can anyone challenge Singularity for the top spot in the region?

As we announced a few weeks ago with the launch of Year 3, the Pro League will now feature 30 teams in each region to ensure the absolute highest level of competition in the league.

Here are the 150 Apex Legends teams that will begin Split 1 in the Pro League. The 30 teams in each region have been seeded into three groups of ten, using performance across ALGS Year 2 and the Year 3 Preseason Qualifiers.

As a reminder, the Split 1 Pro League Regular Season includes teams competing in a triple round-robin format, where each squad will play 36 matches across six series of six matches each. The all-new Regional Finals will subsequently follow the triple-round-robin format featuring the best 20 teams in each region clashing on the final day of the Regular Season.

On the line for teams during the Split 1 Regular Season is our $500,000 USD Regular Season prize pool and the opportunity to qualify for the in-person $1,000,000 USD Split 1 Playoffs taking place later this Winter!

Below are the Split 1 Pro League competition schedules for each region of the ALGS. 

In NA & EMEA, English broadcasting will take place on the official Apex Legends Esports channels on Twitch and YouTube. With ten match days between now and the end of the year, and fan-favorite Multiview returning for each of these matches, you don’t have to miss a second of the best ALGS action across both of these regions.

With our first split’s broadcast schedule now set in stone, we couldn’t be happier to reveal the broadcast team that will provide play-by-play, player interviews, and in-depth analysis week-in, week-out throughout the Pro League’s first split in NA & EMEA.

Earlier this week, the Year 3 Preseason Qualifiers came to a close after four grueling back-to-back weekends of competition, including the first qualifier, which has broken the record for the biggest tournament by participation in ALGS history. 

We want to congratulate and wish the best of luck to each of the tournament winners below who have earned a spot in the Pro League for Split 1!

Preseason Qualifier #1 (Oct 8-10) - Esports Arena (NA), LCDF (EMEA), Nebula e-Sports (APAC N), Emmanuel (APAC S), and Fellas (SA)

Preseason Qualifier #2 (Oct 15-17) - Rakk Attack (NA), VZH (EMEA), NORTHEPTION (APAC N), GQ (APAC S), and Vermouth (SA)

Preseason Qualifier #3 (Oct 22-24) - Team Smiley (NA), Fire Power (EMEA), NAKED (APAC N), Boogie Boarders (APAC S), and no reply (SA)

Preseason Qualifier #4 (Oct 29-31) - SZN (NA), Corpa (EMEA), siitakes (APAC N), TWO MNK ONE PAD (APAC S), and SA Abusers (SA)

In addition to the Preseason Qualifier tournament winners, the next top 4 teams in each region by PQ points also have qualified to begin their ALGS Year 3 journey in the Pro League.
