Introducing the Battlefield REDSEC Elite Series: A series of Battle Royale matches culminating in the top 8 squads fighting head-to-head in a final showdown in Gauntlet. We're also introducing the Open Series for players and community members ready to break into competitive Battlefield.

REDSEC COMPETITIVE SERIES FAQ


The finals for both Elite and Open series will be held online and all competitors will be streaming the proceedings from their channels. Battlefield Studios will also be hosting a broadcast for each regional final.



All tournament matches will run on official servers and will be protected by our Javelin anti-cheat system. 



For the Elite Series, we&#39;re using high-performance game servers in strategically placed data centers to ensure that all players have a quality in-game experience.



Yes, players will be allowed to participate on any platform that REDSEC is on, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.



We understand that players desire tools like spectator mode and private lobbies to hold their own tournaments. These are features we are investigating including for post-launch seasonal updates. 



All competitors in the Elite Series will be streaming every match on the preferred platform for their choice (Twitch, YouTube, etc). 



While Battlefield is often about teamwork – making the best use of class abilities to pull off incredible tactical maneuvers – competition is also a key feature of the game. Just ask anyone who’s pushed on an objective to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat at the last second in a match of Conquest.

By growing Battlefield’s competitive scene, we’ll be helping our community create amazing moments to remember, whether they’re participating directly in tournaments themselves or seeing series history in the making from the sidelines.



REDSEC’s Battle Royale and Gauntlet modes are competitive at their core, making them the perfect starting point to develop our Elite and Open series. We’ll need to work with our community to build a competitive scene for the series’ more traditional modes, leveraging learnings from our first season as well as the community’s grassroots efforts in shaping competitive play.

To ensure both entertainment and competitive integrity, we identified top-tier talent across the FPS landscape as well as from our core Battlefield community. These creators filled out our roster of captains. These captains built their dream squad.

All squads were vetted by our teams for fair play compliance.



Twitch Drops will be available for each scheduled match day for the Elite Series.



We aim for these events to continue into future seasons. With this being a unique format in the competitive space, we will carefully monitor feedback from competitors and the community to ensure the formats are as enjoyable to play as they are to watch.
