Discover Five Fun Things to Try in PvZ: Battle for Neighborville on Nintendo Switch

Explore offline, unlock wacky customizations through play, and more!

Today’s the big day, buds – the Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville™ Complete Edition is finally out on Nintendo Switch™! Get your copy now, grip your Joy-Con™ controllers, and hold on tight because we have five fun things you can try in the game right now. Let’s go!

1. Shoot with Motion Controls
One of the most unique features of PvZ: Battle for Neighborville on Nintendo Switch is the ability to use motion controls to aim. Grab your device, aim and fire in battle. You can also interact with UI touch menus throughout the game using touch inputs, like map zoom and more.

2. Explore Free-roam Regions Offline
Take your game on the road (or just bring your plant pals outside to soak up some sun) when you explore Weirding Woods, Mount Steep, and Town Center offline. Battle bosses like Dreadwood, Olds Cool, Major Problem and Blight Cap. Complete quests, earn medals, and unlock new areas to explore – all without Wi-Fi.

3. Discover Hidden Gnomes
The hunt for gorgeous golden and *gasp* diamond gnomes is on! Find them hidden around the map in free-roam regions, chase them down in time-trial challenges, and solve puzzles to uncover even more. Once you find them, enter the Gnome Shrine to battle one of three Gnome Gnights. Or, earn XP from collecting diamond gnomes. Gnome matter how you track them down, you’ll have fun spotting those sneaky sprites.

4. Unlock Customizations Through Play
Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is known for having some of the wackiest customizations around and the PvZ: Battle for Neighborville Complete Edition allows you to unlock every costume, hat, Victory Slab, Puncher, emoji, and more just by playing the game. Rack up in-game coins by completing missions, challenges, and opening treasure chests! Then exchange them for costumes that will keep your characters looking unbeleafable.

5. Play Every Prize Map
Rack up the Prize Bulbs in Weekly and Daily Challenges, and when you earn XP. Then use them to work your way through every Prize Map ever! Unlock super snazzy Legendary Upgrades and costumes, like the Steam Blaster upgrade for Scientist, the Legendary Midas Tough costume for Super Brainz, the Legendary Blade of the Beetle costume for Kernel Corn, and so much more. With so many costumes, epic hats, Victory Slabs, Punchers, emojis, and more to uncover, we can’t wait to see what you’ll earn next.
