To celebrate the announcement of this program, we were honored to collaborate with four immensely talented artists from our Simmer community to create custom artwork specially made for The Sims Creator Program. These artworks will be sent as postcard prints to our creators as part of an exclusive, limited-time celebratory gift bundle!

These artists—Renee Ramos, Jer Dee, Manuel Kilger, and David Alabo—have each brought their unique visions to life, showcasing how the program can enrich the creator community through their diverse perspectives and connections with The Sims.

Renee Ramos's artwork vividly captures the essence of storytelling and the power to create your own destiny within The Sims universe.

Jer Dee's art beautifully celebrates community and the deep connections formed among creators through shared passion and collaboration.

Manuel Kilger’s work vibrantly reflects the inspiration and dynamic ideas and experiences that fuel the active mind of a content creator.

David Alabo’s vision explores the endless possibilities of creation, presenting an abstract universe where imagination is limitless.

By engaging with these talented individuals, we aim to foster more diversified collaboration opportunities across different mediums and highlight the myriad ways in which The Sims Creator Program can inspire and elevate a creator’s potential.

We’re excited to continue innovating and expanding all the ways we can better serve creators. Keep reading to learn more!

What is the difference between The Sims Creator Program and the EA Creator Network?

They’re made to work in tandem! The Sims Creator Program upholds the values, goals, and strategies that serve our Sims creators. The EA Creator Network is home to EA’s creators across its games, and is one of the tools to provide many of the important perks and franchise-specific access and opportunities. The Sims Creator Program operates using the Creator Network, and it’s one of the channels where once approved as a Sims creator, you can expect to hear from our team.

I’m already a member of the EA Creator Network, but not of The Sims Creator Program. How can I request to join The Sims Creator Program?

If you are a member of the EA Creator Network and have The Sims listed as your primary franchise, you’re already in The Sims Creator Program! Please reach out to your local POC to find out what opportunities and perks you can access.

What constitutes an “active creator?”

You actively create content across one or more The Sims titles, and “active” may look different across different platforms. As a baseline, you should have The Sims content on your main channel within the last 30 days, and a history of content from at least the last 90 days.

How often do you review spots for The Sims Creator Program?

Who is not eligible for The Sims Creator Program?

The Sims Creator Program is not open to anyone who has violated the terms of any previous EA creator program (e.g. EA Game Changers), the EA User Agreement, EA Creator Network Guidelines, or those employed by other industry developers/publishers. Those who were removed from any previous EA Creator Programs are also not eligible to rejoin and/or be reinstated.

I’m a parent, talent manager or agency representative and I represent a creator that wants to be a part of this program. Can I be a part of the program on their behalf?

Unfortunately we do not allow talent agencies, talent managers or parents to apply or take part in this program on behalf of individual creators.

Can I apply with my fan site to The Sims Creator Program

Yes, creators who operate fan sites of The Sims may apply to The Sims Creator Program and will be required to sign the same agreements as other EA Creator Network creators.

What is the Support-A-Creator initiative?

Support-A-Creator is a partnership program that enables The Sims 4 community to support creators when purchasing The Sims 4 content on the EA app store. This means creators will have the opportunity to earn commissions by promoting EA products using their unique Creator Code. Becoming a member of The Sims Creator Program entitles you to your very own Creator Code, which means purchases of The Sims 4 and other EA content (eg. Kits, Expansion Packs, other EA games) from the EA App, EA.com store or in-game purchase flow using your Creator Code will count towards supporting you.

As a member of the The Sims Creator Program, do I have to participate in every opportunity that I’m invited to?

Not at all! Creators may choose to participate in as many or as few opportunities as they like.

I requested to join but was not successful or my submission wasn’t reviewed. Can I reapply?

If you received an email inviting you to reapply, you can do so 90 days from when you receive that email. If you don’t receive an email from us after 90 days, please log back into the EA Creator Network site to check your status and eligibility to resubmit a request again.

How do I know if a creator has created some form of content connected to the EA Creator Network or The Sims Creator Program?

Members of the EA Creator Network and The Sims Creator Program must adhere to disclosure policies for content that they create and creators are responsible for including prominent disclosures on content connected to the EA Creator Network and The Sims Creator Program.

Do the actions of The Sims Creator Program creators outside any EA game affect their program participation?

Yes. If you see a creator who is part of The Sims Creator Program behaving in a way that you believe may break our EA Creator Network Guidelines or The Sims brand values, you can report them here.

Can I participate in third party paid sponsorships while being a member of The Sims Creator Program?

You may be approached by companies other than EA to perform sponsorship or promotional services on behalf of their marketing and promotions campaigns. In general, EA does not object to EA Creators pursuing these opportunities provided the use of EA marks, logos, or products such as The Sims franchise and its games are not used or featured in these other campaigns. The only exception to this is if the 3rd party paid sponsorships violate our EA Creator Network guidelines.

How can I, a representative of a third party organization collaborate with EA and/or The Sims and The Sims Creator Program participants? Who should I reach out to first?

We appreciate you taking interest in The Sims and the amazing creators we collaborate with. Please see our ‘How to request permission to use EA content’ article here.
