UFC 4 Block Breaks Tips & tricks
Learn how to improve your skills in UFC 4
Breaking the Block
When blocking too many frontal or side strikes in a row to the head, your fighter will move their block to where the majority of the strikes are coming from. This leaves your fighter open to Straights or Hooks depending on where your block has moved. It is best to move away from your opponent when you see your fighter bracing for strikes.
Damage Bleedthrough
When your Block Meter is low, strikes will cause some damage leaving you vulnerable even if your block is up. Some strikes like Overhands and Roundhouse Kicks will cause some damage no matter how perfect your block might be. Avoid these types of strikes with movement instead.
Defensive Strike Vulnerability
Moving your head into an opponent's strike (such as ducking into an Uppercut or swaying into a Roundhouse Kick) increases your damage taken. Be careful not to be too predictable with your movement.
