F1® 25: 2026 SEASON PACK – TIPS AND TRICKS
2026年5月28日
Here are some beginner-friendly tips to help you master the new era of Formula 1®
Get ready to race the new era of Formula 1® with these beginner-friendly tips for the F1® 25: 2026 Season Pack, which releases on June 3 across PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
How to Access the New Content in Driver Career and My Team
When you enter into Driver Career or My Team and start a new save file with the 2026 Season Pack installed, the car select screen will show a new category for F1® 2026, alongside the existing categories from the F1® 25 base game.
Think of the 2025 and 2026 versions of these modes as separate game modes. Choosing the 2026 content will create a separate save file from your 2025 season, starting a new game with the 2026 cars, teams, drivers, and calendar, including the new MADRING circuit.
Plus, in My Team, your custom team in 2026 will be the twelfth team on the grid, because the real-life grid has already expanded to 11 teams this year with the addition of Cadillac.
You can also access the 2026 content in Grand Prix, Time Trial, Split Screen, Pro Challenges, Unranked Multiplayer, and LAN.
How to Use Active Aerodynamics
Active Aerodynamics is a brand-new innovation for the 2026 season that helps to give the new cars incredible acceleration in a straight-line. It lets you adjust the angles of front and rear wings while you are driving on track, to match the conditions and the angles of the corners.
Cornering Mode is the default mode that keeps the wing angles high to provide maximum downforce and grip. This mode engages when you are turning, braking, lifting off the throttle, or exiting a Straight Line Zone.
Straight Line Mode (SLM) puts the wings in a low, flat angle, reducing downforce and drag to make the car accelerate faster on the straights. It is only available only in specific Zones of each track, like DRS used to be in 2025.
You can switch modes manually on a gamepad with the Triangle or Y button, set your own button mapping on a wheel, or you can use a new Assist to look after Active Aero for you. Either way, you will see the wings animate and change position on your car, and an indicator on the HUD will remind you which mode is currently active. This is useful if you drive in a camera view like Cockpit Cam where you can’t see the wings from your driving position.
On your controller, Active Aero uses the same button that DRS used in the F1® 25 base game.
How to Use the New Overtake Mode
The new Overtake Mode creates extra strategic options for drivers of all abilities and should lead to many more overtaking opportunities.
It gives a massively powerful 470 horsepower electrical boost to aid overtaking—far stronger than 2025’s old Overtake mode.
When you are within 1 second of the driver ahead at a Detection Line, the new Overtake Mode unlocks, allowing you to deploy that huge boost whenever you like for the rest of the lap, assuming you have enough energy stored in the car’s battery. To deploy Overtake using a gamepad, press the L1 or LB button, or set your own button mapping on a wheel.
When you’re outside Overtake range, you can still adjust the standard ERS mode settings that you might be used to from previous F1® games. The game also offers Assist options for ERS & Overtake Mode, to manage the settings for you if you prefer, so you can focus on the road ahead.
You can use Overtake Mode in any session of a Race Weekend, with updated Career & My Team Objectives for mastering it, and it uses the same button on your controller that the old 2025 Overtake mode used in the F1® 25 base game.
How to Enable the New Assists
Visit the Setting screen and scroll over to the Assists sub-menu, where you will find the toggles for the new assists alongside the traditional ones you may remember from previous games, such as Tractional Control and the Dynamic Racing Line.
How to Experience the New Era
There are two ways to step into the 2026 season.
If you already own F1 25, the 2026 Season Pack will give you access to the new season. You will need to start a new save file to access the 2026 Season content. The 2026 Season Pack requires F1 25 base game & all game updates.
If you’re starting fresh, the F1 25: 2026 Season Edition combines the base game with the 2026 content, offering the ultimate racing experience in this new chapter of Formula 1.
Internet connection & all game updates are required to access certain content.
