Welcome to Courting Crimson, the final chapter in the three-part journey through Mortimer's imagination, as he puts pen to paper for one last story inspired by Bella. This time, we're stepping into a world of mysterious libraries, moonlit gardens, and gothic romance, with plenty of spooky surprises along the way. 

Bring the final chapter to life in your own SimTown with elegant gothic interiors, enchanted woodland spaces, supernatural décor, and Create-a-Sim looks inspired by creatures of the night, witches, and monster hunters. That's right, your wardrobe will slay. Whether your Sims are dressing for a moonlit night out or simply adding a little mystery to their homes, there's plenty to discover as Between the Lines reaches its finale.

Sink Your Teeth Into a New Season Pass

Alongside the events arriving throughout the final chapter of Between the Lines, the Courting Crimson Season Pass is packed with new rewards to help bring the theme home.

The Free Pass includes occult-inspired Build Mode and Create-a-Sim rewards alongside useful currencies and consumables, with plenty of ways to give your builds a supernatural touch. Unlock cobwebbed walls, gothic windows, creeping ivy, dramatic doors, and other spooky additions as you progress.

The optional Premium Pass takes things even further, with an expanded reward track featuring additional gothic-inspired Build Mode and Create-a-Sim items. Discover antique furnishings, eerie curiosities, dramatic lighting, a music box, a grand bed, and more, culminating in the magnificent Crimson Lodge Home Lot at the final tier.

Looking for a supernaturally fast start and an extra Create-a-Sim reward? Introducing Premium Plus, a new pass option that can be purchased in addition to the Premium Pass. Launching with Courting Crimson, it gives you an instant boost of Season Pass Points and an exclusive Create-a-Sim reward on top of your Premium Pass benefits. 

Plants vs. Zombies Is Taking Over Your SimTown

We’re teaming up with Plants vs. Zombies for a special spooky-season collaboration! From October 21 to November 1, one of gaming’s most famous front-lawn feuds is coming to your SimTown, bringing a few shambling Zombies along with it.

But don’t panic! The Plants aren’t far behind. These fiercely protective flora are ready to help your Sims keep their brainz off the menu. You’ll find them popping up in the Community Market and on Influence Island, causing plenty of playful mayhem, with Plants vs. Zombies-inspired rewards to unlock along the way.

The Community Market Takeover

The first signs of the invasion will appear in the Community Market.

A classic Plants vs. Zombies-style lawn will spring up among the crops, with Peashooter, Sunflower, and Wall-nut taking their places while Zombies roam the Market. You can still grow produce, fill requests, and earn Simoleons as usual. You might just have a few more undead visitors to contend with while you do it.

Plants vs. Zombies vs. The Sims: Influence Island

A horde of Zombies will be making their way to Influence Island! Or should that be Influence Lawn?

In this special five-day event, your Sim will go head-to-head with a rival Zombie to win over the island’s contestants. Help your Sim convince the undead crowd that your Sims make much better friends than food!

Defending your ‘brainz’ has its rewards. Earn Peashooter, Sunflower, and Wall-nut, along with Zombie outfits and body paint, plus four lawn pieces to create your own Plants vs. Zombies-inspired setup back in SimTown.

Market Race

Ready, set, deliver!

Market day means something a little different in your SimTown. It means it’s time for Market Race! 

Jump into a race and compete against four rivals by completing Community Market requests. Every qualifying request earns Race Points, helping you move along the track and speed towards the finish line.

Race your way into first, second, or third place to earn rewards, then jump into another race and see if you can beat your best finish. Market Race will be available at three points during this update, so keep an eye out for those special Orders if you'd like to participate.

Influence Island: Forbidden Library

Some stories are meant to be read. Others might be better left on the shelf.

The grand library's rarest collection is up for grabs, but its secrets won't go to just anyone. Charm the visiting scholars, earn Influence, and collect a mysterious selection of rewards for your own SimTown.

Create a grand reading room with gothic details, Exploratory Research Notes, a bookshelf with its own ladder, and eerie touches that make every corner feel like it has a story of its own.

Craft Challenge: Moonlit Mausoleum

Ghoulish or glamorous? Either way, this mausoleum needs to look its best, because this is the time of year when things get a little more lively. 

Craft your way through a collection of gothic garden décor, including the Blood Rose Bouquet, Reaper with Candelabra statue, and the wonderfully named Gary the Gargoyle. 

Complete the challenge to unlock the Midnight Crypt Arbor and Midnight Crypt Mausoleum, perfect for creating a moonlit garden and making the perfect centerpieces.

SimChase: Coven's Calling

There's a place waiting for you among the forest witches, but earning it won't be easy.

Race Crystal Bawl through the coven's trials, brew potions, and collect everything you need to create your own enchanted woodland retreat. Fill it with Witch’s Arcane Curiosities, Potion Peddler, mystical furnishings, and witchy fashion along the way. Then, use the Mystic Arcane Circle to perform a ritual and add a little magic to your SimTown.

SimChase: Battle of the Brains

Something peculiar is happening in Dr. Mae Hem's laboratory. 

Take on this wildly questionable battle of brains and collect everything you need for your very own mad scientist's lab, including Peculiar Preserves, Questionable Contraptions, a Cabinet of Curiosities, strange specimens, and plenty of experimental equipment. Just remember: safety goggles are strongly encouraged.

SimChase: Playtime in Full Color

Give your little Sims a room fit for a fancy forest fable.

Mona Chrome has designed the perfect toddler bedroom: spotless, sophisticated, and completely untouched by grubby little hands... yet. Race through your challenges to create a colorful, fabled space with a Fairytale Bookshelf, Toadstool Play Tent, a Snoozeville Bed, and much more.

Woodworking Hobby Event: Stick With It!

Bring a touch of the enchanted woodland to the edges of your Sims' homes.

Put your Woodworking skills to work and unlock a collection of handcrafted outdoor pieces, including stick-and-thatch fences, rustic gates, the glowing Forest Beacon, and a cozy Forest Bonfire. Perfect for finishing off a woodland hideaway, a magical garden, or any build that could use a little more wild charm.

Unlock ornate mirrors and armchairs, statement doors, elegant dressing tables, round seating, and beautiful spiral staircases with decorative railings. Complete the collection with a grand prize featuring open wardrobes and floor-to-ceiling shoe displays, because choosing an outfit is much easier when the entire wardrobe is on show.
