BATTLEFIELD 2042 FAQ

GENERAL

Where can I find my Ultimate Edition content?

Once you’ve bought the Elite Edition or the Elite Upgrade Pack, you can find all hardware and cosmetics items in the Collections menu. You will get access to content from all four seasons of Battlefield 2042. That includes over 17 maps, more than 35 weapons, over 25 vehicles, and all 14 specialists. You will also get the exclusive Lost World Epic Cosmetics Bundle.

What does “reimagined experiences” mean?

Alongside the creative suite, Battlefield™ Portal includes reimagined content from three of Battlefield’s most popular titles. We're talking about the maps, weapons, gadgets, vehicles, factions, and classes from each respective game – all reimagined for the visual standards of Battlefield 2042. You can take aim with your M1 in a fully reimagined Battle of the Bulge or shoot across the sky in a jet at the Caspian Border.

Are there Community Servers?

In Battlefield™ Portal, players can host servers where they can run custom games or use preset modes, like Conquest, Team Deathmatch, Rush, and other fan-favorites. These servers are created when you make a match and then shut down once the server is empty.

What is the Builder and what can I create with it?

While the Settings allow you to change many specific conditions with the flick of a switch, the Logic Editor lets you define rules, victory conditions, consequences of specific in-game events (like setting a reward or punishment for a player scoring a kill), and even more to create custom game modes that aren’t possible to create with the Settings alone. While the maps are reimagined for the Battlefield™ Portal experience, it’s important to note that they aren't editable.

Can I use and play my created content outside of Battlefield Portal?

Battlefield™ Portal allows players to follow and share servers. Some of the most creative and popular player-created experiences will be featured in official curated playlists in the server browser, making it convenient for you to find fun and inventive new matches the moment you load into Battlefield™ Portal.

What platforms can I play on?

You can play Battlefield 2042 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4, and PlayStation®5 consoles, along with PC on Steam, The EA App, and the Epic Games store.
