Road to the Final Player Items upgrade with each step towards the trophy—the further a player’s team makes it out on the pitch, the higher their rating will climb in your club.

HOW IT WORKS

Each Road to the Final Player Item is given an initial boost at the start of the campaign and has the potential for 3 additional OVR upgrades based on how the player’s team progresses in the UEFA Champions League.

When will items be upgraded in-game?

Any earned Road to the Final Player Item upgrades will occur the week after the corresponding UEFA Champions League stage has concluded. Stay posted to @EAFIFAMOBILE on Twitter for the latest RTTF updates.

Does the player have to play in order for their RTTF Player Item to receive upgrades?

No, Road to the Final Player Items will receive upgrades based on their club’s progress regardless of whether or not they take part in any matches.

Can a player receive upgrades once their club has been knocked out of their European competition?

No, all RTTF upgrades are awarded for wins/progression so if a player’s club loses/is knocked out, their Player Item will not receive any further upgrades.
