HOW TO DOMINATE GAUNTLET PLAYLISTS IN LAKESHORE ONLINE

Feel the ultimate thrill of street racing in new Gauntlet Playlists as the most determined cops in Lakeshore try to take you down.

F1 2021 Header

Run the Gauntlet in new events that combine street racing and cop chasing in Lakeshore Online. The risk ramps up, but so do the rewards, so don't let the cops crash your celebration. Get busted and go home empty-handed, but smash the field and make it to the end of the route for big Bank and XP prizes.

Word on the street: Gauntlet events carry higher rewards than standard street races, but only for those who make it to the finish.

Throw down the Gauntlet:

Head over to Meetup locations across Lakeshore to begin a playlist. ‘Rapid Response’ at Edgewater and ‘All Points Bulletin’ at the University host A tier Gauntlets, whilst ‘The Sound of the Police’ at Jefferson and ‘Lakeshore's Most Wanted’ at Dunder M Park feature A+ and S tier events respectively. Each playlist challenges street racers to three events of ramping Heat so come prepared for high-octane racing.

Word on the street: A Heat level is set from the jump, so avoid cops as they join the race and try to take you down or box you in.

Feel the Heat:

All that time spent tearing through the streets sure has riled up the cops. They’ll be trying their hardest to take you down and the only escape is to cross the finish line. Your Heat level will stay the same throughout the race, so being agile and fast will help, but don’t be afraid to let the cops know you’re there. Heat increases throughout the Playlist, beginning at 3 and increasing to 5 for the final event. Get wrecked or cornered by the cops and you’ll be Busted. Get Busted and it’s all over, and you’ll return to the garage. Remember, cops aren’t the only threat. Beware of other racers trying their best to feed you to the cops and take the rewards for themselves. When the moment comes, let ‘em have it.

Being fast isn’t enough:

You’ll be going wheel to wheel and bumper to bumper with aggressive cops and less than friendly street racers, so choosing a set of wheels that won’t fall apart in a fender bender will do you well. Rydell will loan you a Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR (2015) if your garage doesn’t yet contain something up to the task. Gauntlet cars should be fast enough to get you over the line before your competition, but strong enough to fend off the cops and get you to the end of the race in the first place.

Word on the street: The heavier the vehicle, the more punishment it can take. Go big or go home!

Keep the car alive:

To keep your ride on the road, you’ll need to repair at gas stations. In Gauntlets, there’s no cooldown on repairs and opportunities to do so are limited, so if you see a station it’s a good idea to dive in and get a fix up. You’ll carry damage from one event to the next, so keeping your ride in peak condition is essential if you want to cross the line ahead of the competition and maximize your rewards.

Now get out on the streets and run the Gauntlet!
