NFS Fam, the time has arrived. The second Need for Speed™ Unbound post-launch update is here ready for you to tear up the streets all over again. Let’s get into it.

Vol 3 brings new ways for you to own the streets, from Linkups and drift playlists to the new Speed Pass with 75 free ranks offering some of the dopest items for you to express yourself. You might want to check out all fixes and QoL improvements coming alongside Vol 3 on June 20th.

Rank up in Lakeshore with the new Speed Pass, featuring 75 free ranks. Each time you rank up you’ll grab the goods you need to light up the streets in style, including the Legendary Custom Dodge SRT Viper 2014. Earn XP whenever you race, complete Daily or Weekly Challenges, and complete objectives in Linkups.

Heard you were looking for new ways to play in multiplayer in Lakeshore? Let us introduce you to the brand-new Linkups, a new stunt-based free-roam feature open to any daring driver willing to accept. Get yourself to one of 7 locations from the Seba Ski Resort to the Quarry. You need to work together with the Lakeshore community to crush collective goals that escalate difficulty, but keep an eye on the clock as it will be racing against you over 4 rounds.

On top of earning some sweet XP and Bank, if you crush 12 Linkups challenges you will get a sweet reward to show off in Lakeshore… and not any reward: the iconic DMC DeLorean (1981) . So be ready to smash the objectives, get your name on the scoreboard as Top Player, and show the Lakeshore community who’s in charge!

Bag yourself some sweet XP for the Speed Pass and Bank to earn yourself dope new cosmetics and customizations - when the Linkup ends, you’ll still have to shake off the cops to hold on to all your hard-earned cash.

There’s no point owning the streets if you aren’t doing it in style. Show everyone you’re the boss with epic new rims, clothes and legendary poses. As you progress through the Speed Pass you will unlock new ways to elevate your look and put your own stamp on Lakeshore.

It’s time to get sideways, tune your car to show that you can tame a drifting monster and dominate the competition in the new Drift playlists found in Lakeshore. Don't worry about your position, just keep your eye on the multiplier as you dance around the corners to earn big points and bragging rights on the streets.

Cops on your tail and you need a little assistance to take some heat off you? Want to show you rule the streets and challenge those that get too big for their boots or do you want to show some love to your homies in Linkups? The Chat Wheel gives you another way to express yourself and talk to the Lakeshore community.
