STAR WARS™: SQUADRONS COUNTERMEASURE COMPONENTS

Countermeasures prevent missiles from hitting your ship. There are four types of countermeasures, all with their own advantages and disadvantages. All countermeasures are active components.

Chaff Particles

Countermeasures
Active
Releases a particle cloud from your ship’s engine that will scramble the sensors of ships and missiles passing through it, until the cloud dissipates. Breaks locks and stops all auxiliary projectiles. Fly straight to ensure missiles hit the cloud. Can protect capital ships.

Seeker Warheads

Countermeasures
Active
Launches a group of rear-firing warheads that will attempt to intercept the missiles locked on to you. Is effective even when turning and at long ranges.

Sensor Inverter

Countermeasure
Active
A short-range scrambler that releases an electromagnetic burst capable of redirecting an enemy missile back at the ship that fired it. Works only at very close range.

Sensor Jammer

Countermeasures
Active
A device capable of scrambling or blocking sensors, automatically breaking missile locks and temporarily preventing enemies from locking-on to your ship. Always effective at any range, but with a long cooldown. Load More
