Roundhouse Kick Catch Offense


To catch a kick, press ^RT^+^LT^ when a body kick is thrown towards your fighter. If timed correctly, your fighter will catch the kick.

**Inputs:**

^RT^ + ^LT^ (when attacker throws a kick)

If your Front Kick or Knee is caught, you can only defend incoming strikes or takedowns. You cannot strike.

After catching a Knee to the body, your fighter can only punch or attempt a takedown.

Knee Catch Offense


When blocking too many frontal or side strikes in a row to the head, your fighter will move their block to where the majority of the strikes are coming from. This leaves your fighter open to Straights or Hooks depending on where your block has moved. It is best to move away from your opponent when you see your fighter bracing for strikes.

Breaking the Block


You can lean in any direction and then use a Major Lunge to combine Head Movement and Lunges together.

**Inputs:**

Hold ^RS^ to lean in any direction and then hold ^LB^ and tap ^RS^ in the same direction and you are leaning.

Combine Head Movement and Lunges


Press ^RT^ after throwing a strike to feint. Feinting also cancels any attacks you are making, which helps if you start to throw a head kick you think you will miss.

If your Roundhouse Kick is caught, you have the option to throw punches, escape, or block a takedown.

**Inputs:**

Punches: ^X^ or ^Y^

After catching a Front Kick to the body, your fighter can throw elbows or kicks, or attempt a takedown.

**Inputs:**

Elbow: ^RT^+^X^ or ^Y^

Front Kick Catch Offense


Use ^RSALL^ to move your head in different directions. Head Movement allows your fighter to quickly avoid a strike without moving out of striking range.

How to use Head Movement


Hold ^RT^+^LT^ when your opponent is throwing a Leg Kick to Check it. Checking a Leg Kick causes damage to the fighter that threw the Leg Kick. This can eventually end the fight if you Check enough Kicks.

If you hold ^LB^ and tap ^RS^ in any direction, you will complete a Major Lunge.

Hold ^RT^+^LT^ to block your body.

You can combo Head Movement and Strikes together. When moving your head to the right, use your Left Hook to counter quickly. When moving your head back, use Straights to counter quickly. Use Practice Mode to find all possible Head Movement Strike Combinations.

^RSDOWN^ + ^LB^ + ^X^ for Hook Combination
