Catch Kicks
To catch a kick, press ^RT^+^LT^ when a body kick is thrown towards your fighter. If timed correctly, your fighter will catch the kick.
Inputs:
^RT^ + ^LT^ (when attacker throws a kick)
Roundhouse Kick Catch Offense
After catching a Roundhouse Kick to the body, your fighter can throw punches or kicks, or attempt a takedown.
Inputs:
Punches: ^X^ or ^Y^\nBreaking Punches:^RB^ + ^X^ or ^Y^\nKicks: ^A^ or ^B^\nTower Trip and Takedown: ^RB^ + ^A^ or ^B^\nAdvancing Tower Trip: ^RB^ + ^A^ or ^B^ (when advancing)
Front Kick Catch Offense
After catching a Front Kick to the body, your fighter can throw elbows or kicks, or attempt a takedown.
Inputs:
Elbow:^RT^+^X^ or ^Y^\nKicks:^A^ or ^B^\nAdvancing Tower Trip: ^RB^+^A^ or ^B^
Knee Catch Offense
After catching a Knee to the body, your fighter can only punch or attempt a takedown.
Inputs:
Tower Trip and Takedown: ^RB^ + ^A^ or ^B^
Roundhouse Kick Catch Defense
If your Roundhouse Kick is caught, you have the option to throw punches, escape, or block a takedown.
Inputs:
Punches: ^X^ or ^Y^\nEscape: Retreating with ^LS^\nBlock:^RT^ or ^RT^+^LT^\nBlock Takedown Attempts: ^RT^+^LT^
Front Kick and Knee Catch Defense
If your Front Kick or Knee is caught, you can only defend incoming strikes or takedowns. You cannot strike.
Inputs:
Escape: Retreating with ^LS^\nBlock:^RT^ or ^RT^+^LT^\n^Block Takedown: ^RT^+^LT^
